The 2019 Elections are just a few weeks away and politicians are beginning to recruit celebrities into their campaign team as they have been known to do in the past. With the likes of D'banj, Olamide, Yemi Alade among others having campaigned for different politicians over the last decade, the trend is still very much alive till date. However one celebrity have come under fire from some Nigerians for publicly showing support for one of the  popular political parties in the country.

Popular Gospel Artist Lanre Teriba was criticised for his post on Instagram in which he declared his support for 'the continuity of good governace' by endorsing the APC and posting a video of the campaign song he did for the APC Gubernatorial aspirant in Lagos; Babajide Sanwo-Olu. And some Nigerians who were not having it came for him almost immediately. Some questioned his credibility as a gospel Artist, while others resorted to  cursing him.
